Delete your account and data
You can delete your Onusmu account and everything stored with it at any time. You do not need to have the app installed to ask.
Delete from the app
- Open Onusmu.
- Go to [EXACT IN-APP PATH, E.G. SETTINGS → ACCOUNT → DELETE ACCOUNT].
- Confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out.
Delete without the app
Email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We complete requests within [E.G. 30 DAYS].
Delete some data but keep your account

What is deleted
- Your account details.
- Your audio recordings, where any are stored.
- Your transcripts and memory timeline.
- Your AI chat questions and answers.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Copies in routine backups, which are overwritten within [BACKUP RETENTION PERIOD].
- Records we are legally required to keep, such as [E.G. PURCHASE AND TAX RECORDS], for [PERIOD].
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel the subscription there as well; deleting your account does not cancel it. [REMOVE THE PREVIOUS SENTENCE IF THERE ARE NO SUBSCRIPTIONS]
